The Committee for Liberty is a Political Action Committee established in 2019 to support John (Jay) Robert Ashcroft in accordance with the Revised Statutes of Missouri. Over the past five years serving as Missouri’s Secretary of State, Jay Ashcroft has delivered for Missourians of all backgrounds. Committee for Liberty is designed to build on those accomplishments and develop public support for the foundational ideals of liberty that undergird and frame an environment of freedom, responsibility, safety, growth, innovation, and productivity in American social, political, and governmental culture. Committee for Liberty is also about promoting these values during Jay Ashcroft’s campaign for and service as Governor.

The Committee for Liberty will support causes that respect the values that engender and foster liberty without regard to race or ethnicity. It will seek outcomes of opportunity, development, and growth for all citizens. The Committee will transparently conduct its activities through a board of directors open to suggestions of contributors and members.
